What is the difference between conventional and pre-stretched film?

Grip pre-stretched film, used with the GRIP applicator, outperforms conventional hand-applied stretch film by requiring far less effort to apply while delivering more consistent and efficient results. Unlike traditional film, which needs greater force for proper load stability – often causing inconsistent wrapping and excess material use – GRIP film is mechanically stretched during production (typically 200–300%) and wound at its extended length. This allows operators to apply it with minimal tension, while its elastic recovery naturally tightens around the load. The result is faster, easier wrapping with consistent quality, 30–50% less film usage, improved safety through reduced strain and better visibility, and overall lower wrapping costs.

Are there any alternatives to plastic bubble wrap?

How do you achieve stronger seals and improved package security?

While PVC tape is common, Water-Activated Tape (WAT) offers superior performance, security, and sustainability. Unlike PVC, which only sticks to the surface, WAT bonds with the cardboard fibers to create a strong, tamper-evident seal that can’t be removed without damage – ideal for secure packaging. Made from renewable kraft paper and starch adhesive, it’s fully recyclable with the box, unlike oil-based PVC that contaminates recycling. WAT performs reliably in dusty, cold, or humid conditions, uses less tape per package thanks to its strong single-strip seal, and provides a cleaner, more professional look. It can also be custom printed for branding and is virtually silent to apply, making it a smarter, eco-friendly alternative to PVC tape.
