Plastic Wrap 7 Edit LANDSCAPE

Stretch Film Supplier

Pallet wrap offers an effective solution for securing and protecting palletised goods during transit and storage. Advancements in film technology continually improve pallet wrap performance, leading to reduced overall costs.

Secure your profits with stretch film

By selecting the right pallet stretch film material and application method, we will optimise your palletisation processes. Understanding the true cost of pallet wrapping eliminates confusion around roll prices, preventing potential higher overall costs.

At Titan, we’ll help you reduce your stretch film cost per pallet rather than cost per roll. This will help you significantly cut costs, allowing you to work more efficiently and boost profits.

Eco stretch film

Sustainability is more important than ever, which is why we’ll work with you to enhance the way you use your pallet stretch film, helping your operations become more environmentally friendly. We’ll help you reduce how much stretch film you use, focus on implementing closed loop recycling to ensure your materials have no negative effects on the planet and use pallet wrap with recycled content.

Our eco films contain a minimum of 30% recycled content. This ensures that you’re using a more sustainable and environmental product with the additional bonus of not incurring plastic tax charges. Once the type of pallet wrap you require is identified we can provide you with a variety of hand held pallet wrap and/or machine stretch film.

Stretch wrap safety

Over 46,000 items were found on England’s motorways and major A roads in a 10 month period by Highways England Traffic officers, usually caused by unstable loads. Unstable loads pose safety hazards to both workers and recipients. Ensuring load stability with pallet wrap mitigates these risks and promotes a safer working environment.

At Titan, we believe in the importance of pallet wrap safety. That’s why we’ll work with you to reduce the number of revolutions you use per pallet. This means we’ll identify stretch films that protect your products while helping you use less material. Less material = lower costs.

When you wrap your products securely and ensure your loads are stable you’re guaranteeing safe product delivery, in turn protecting your brand name and reputation, ensuring you gain new and repeat customers.

FAQs

What is stretch wrap used for?

Stretch wrapping film is often used to hold boxes and products together on a pallet to protect them during transportation.

Is stretch wrap recyclable?

Yes! This is due to pallet wrap stretch film usually being made of linear low density polythene (LLDPE). LLDPE is a category 4 in recycling products, meaning it will need to be sorted for different recycling units, making it important that you implement proper procedures that ensure pallet wrap is sorted for recycling.

What is the difference between blown and cast stretch wrap?

Blown stretch wrap tends to be used for heavier and sharper products. This is due to its high durability and it having a high resistance to tearing and puncturing.

Cast stretch film is designed for lighter products and stacked loads on pallets. Cast stretch film also has higher clarity making it great for scanning barcodes.

What is the difference between shrink wrap and stretch wrap?

Shrink film shrinks around the shape of a product and is used to package items, whereas stretch film is used to wrap pallets ready for products to be shipped.
